Set amongst the Mendip Hills in sight of the beautiful Beacon Hill Woods
A well-maintained, back-to-basics site

Maureen and Colin Bignell welcome you to Mendip Lodge Campsite, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty,

nestling amongst the Mendip Hills in sight of the beautiful Beacon Hill Woods.

Situated near the A37, a good arterial route to many places of interest in Somerset and beyond,
we are 2 miles from the nearest town, Shepton Mallet, featured in the TV programme Turn Back Time.

Here you will find something to suit everyone, from a large supermarket to the interesting shops in the High Street,
the Mulberry Factory Shop, pubs, restaurants and coffee houses.

The Yurt

You can now stay in the Yurt at Mendip Lodge Campsite for a glamorous camping, or ‘glamping’, experience for those who seek the simplicity of living under canvas whilst ensuring quality and comfort.

Featuring a ‘glamping’ kitchen.
The Yurt sleeps up to 4 people.
